What a great day with Sheila at…

What a great day with Sheila at Blenheim Palace , the Cotswolds, and the Downton Abby location town ( Bampton). Lots of stories and laughs on the bus and great guide! She’s awesome!

Dear Barbi Stevens Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear you had a fantastic day exploring Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, and Bampton with Sheila. It's wonderful to know that her stories and enthusiasm made the experience memorable and enjoyable. We’re so glad you had a great time and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! Canterbury and Oxford

A wonderful guide, Cameron who was very knowledgeable and entertaining..I liked his coming to touch base with every passenger on the drive back to London. Many guides lose interest after the event but he offered help re transport, food etc. He also knew when to shut up during a good part of each leg of the bus drive. Nothing is worse than a guide who talks non stop for 7 hours. Amjit the driver was professional and skilful at negotiating the awful traffic. Thank you Clare Papasergio

Date of experience : July 05, 2024

Dear Clare Papasergio Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that Cameron made such a positive impression with his knowledge, engaging manner, and attentiveness. It's fantastic to know that his efforts to connect with passengers and his balance of commentary contributed to a memorable experience. We’re also delighted that Amjit’s professionalism and driving skills stood out, especially given the challenging traffic conditions. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to pass on your compliments to both Cameron and Amjit. If you have any further thoughts or if there's anything else we can assist with in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks again for sharing your experience! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Windsor Castle debacle

Ruth, our tour guide, was excellent. However, the traffic getting to Windsor was terrible, and this seems to be an everyday occurrence with this tour. As a result, we spent far too much time on the coach and far too little time at Windsor Castle. Very rushed and as a result very disappointing. Even worse is that the air conditioning did not work on the journey to Windsor, with the temperature on the coach hovering between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius the entire time. We suffered this for about 80 minutes, and by the time we got to Windsor, I was suffering from heat exhaustion (not an exaggeration). It took me about 30 minutes to get back to feeling something like normal. Why was the A/C not checked out BEFORE we departed for Windsor? I have no idea, but the fact that it was not is inexcusable. Evan Evans tour--never again!

Date of experience : June 20, 2024

Dear David Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered on your tour. It's clear that the combination of traffic delays and the malfunctioning air conditioning significantly impacted your experience, and for that, I sincerely apologize. We are glad to hear that Ruth, our tour guide, was excellent. However, I understand that this did not make up for the discomfort and inconvenience caused by the travel conditions. Your feedback about the air conditioning and the traffic issues is invaluable, and we will be addressing these concerns with our team immediately. We will review our procedures to ensure that vehicle conditions are thoroughly checked before departure to prevent such issues in the future. We truly regret that your time at Windsor Castle was cut short and that the travel experience was less than satisfactory. Your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we will work hard to ensure improvements are made. If you would like to discuss this further or if there is anything we can do to make up for this experience, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Not satisfactory

Did not leave on time to Harry Potter tour, did not leave on time from Harry Potter tour either! When explaining for the bus driver that according to the ticket receipt, that they were not supposed to wait for late passengers he got very rued ant talked to me In a very violent voice

Date of experience : May 18, 2024

Dear Haaken Chr.Mathiesen We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced on the Harry Potter tour. We strive for our tours to depart and return on time, allowing an extra 5 minutes for late customers as a courtesy. We're sorry to hear that the driver did not handle your enquiries professionally. Please know that we will address this issue with our transport and logistics team to ensure it does not happen again. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Windsor/Stonehenge/Oxford

We did the 3 location package (Windsor/Stonehenge/Oxford). Doing all three in one day is a lot so you can think of this tour as a quick/preview version rather than immersing yourself into details, etc. Overall a pretty good experience having a bus drive you around. Buss is nice and clean. Our driver (Musama) and host (Robert) was good making sure everyone is informed and is staying on track. Lots of good stories and tidbits shared!

Date of experience : December 30, 2022

Dear Mason Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear that you found the tour to be a good preview of Windsor, Stonehenge, and Oxford. We appreciate your understanding that fitting all three locations into one day means a more overview-style visit. We're glad to know that Usama and Robert helped make the day enjoyable and informative, with lots of interesting stories along the way. Thanks again for your feedback, and we hope to have the chance to take you on another adventure soon! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Windsor, Stonehenge & Oxford

If you need to know if Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford are worth a vsit, well... Robert, our guide made the difference! Knowledgeable, good humoured, humorous and organized. A font of interesting information! The only complaint was with the weather, which was quite beyond his capacity to manage. He spoke of a future James Bond themed tour. This alone would be a good reason to return to the UK! Would recommend to others…

Date of experience : November 24, 2022

Dear John Thank you for your fantastic feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that Robert made such a positive impact on your visit to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford with his knowledge, humor, and organization. We appreciate your understanding regarding the weather and are excited to hear that the mention of a future James Bond-themed tour has piqued your interest! Thank you for your recommendation, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the UK soon! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

DO NOT BOOK!!!!!

DO NOT BOOK!!!!!! Took the money but wouldnt let us on tour as didnt have PRINTED ticket!!!! Called the operator was EXTREMELY rude and said it was my problem and i should have read t+c before booking...! Noone expects paper tickets anywhere if you have it on a phone and how many tourists carry around printer? Was shocked by rude woman on phone. Pathetic

Date of experience : October 14, 2022

Dear JB I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience. It’s disappointing to know that you faced difficulties with your ticket and received rude service when you reached out for assistance. We understand that having a printed ticket can be inconvenient and not always practical. Your feedback is valuable, and we will review our policies and customer service training to prevent such issues in the future. If you’d like to discuss this further or if there’s anything we can do to address your concerns, please feel free to contact us directly. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future. Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath w/ Robert & Sam

Robert was our guide & Sam was our driver today for Windsor, Stonehenge, & Roman Baths in Bath. Sam was a smooth driver-everyone was catching a nap which is so important because it’s a 12 hour day. Robert made this a great experience- He is so knowledgeable and passionate about GB/UK history. Both gents were so kind & really cared about making it a great experience for the whole team. Would 100% recommend.

Date of experience : December 18, 2022

Dear Kelly A Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that Robert and Sam made your tour to Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath such a memorable experience. It's great to know that Sam’s smooth driving and Robert’s passion for history contributed to a comfortable and enriching day. We appreciate your high recommendation and look forward to welcoming you on another tour in the future! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath Tour

We did the Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath tour with Simon as our guide and Bill as our driver - they were both amazing!! It’s a wonderful jam-packed day with lots of amazing sights and photo opportunities. Please note, if you are wanting to spend an extensive time at any of these places, you probably should book one day for each or only two for the day. However, we were given the option to stay in Bath at the end and take a train home. 10/10 would recommend! Especially if you luck out and have Simon as your guide - he cracked a lot of jokes and was very entertaining and kind!

Date of experience : November 06, 2023

Dear Morgan Huebert Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath tour with Simon and Bill. It’s wonderful to know that Simon’s humor and kindness, along with Bill’s driving, made your day enjoyable and memorable. We appreciate your helpful tip about planning for extensive time at each location. We’re glad the option to stay in Bath worked well for you. Thank you for the 10/10 recommendation! We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you on another tour soon Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Wonderful tour

Wonderful tour! Punctual and friendly staff. Robert was an excellent guide from whom we learnt a lot. Nice stories to relax too! Considering I’m not a native speaker, his English was easy to understand for me. Barington also drove us safely all along this long journey.

Date of experience : December 28, 2022

Dear Prof Elisabete Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had a great experience and that Robert's engaging stories and clear English made the tour enjoyable and accessible. It’s also fantastic to know that Barrington’s safe driving contributed to your positive experience. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you on another tour in the future! Best Wishes Evan Evans Team

Great guide

Richard, the guide was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Wish the tour company would schedule a departure earlier, thou, as we were the last bus to arrive at Windsor castle. After a 1hr 45 minute wait, we only had 49 minutes inside. Why are they giving so many tickets out to tours at the same time. English heritage at Stonehenge was disorganized which allowed only 5 minutes there at the site. The issues were all because Windsor castle and English Heritage. Nice to see the sites, but we won’t return and benefit these sites.

Dear Karla Thank you for your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found Richard knowledgeable and friendly, though we’re sorry to hear about the timing issues you experienced. We understand that long waits and limited time at the sites can be frustrating, and it’s disappointing that these factors impacted your visit. Your feedback about scheduling and site management is valuable, and we’ll make sure to pass it along to the relevant parties. We hope to improve the experience for future guests and appreciate your insights. If you ever decide to give us another chance, we’ll do our best to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience. Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Awesome day tour!

We did the tour to Warwick castle, Stratford upon Avon & Oxford which was a long 11hr tour but well worth it. We had Robert as our tour guide & David was our driver. Robert was full of fun exciting stories and kept us interested and laughing. David was a great driver who kept us safe and comfortable. Our coach was clean, punctual and comfortable and the stops were perfect.

It was a lovely experience with Robert…

It was a lovely experience with Robert and Maria! Our coach was best with his tour guidance, spoke about london things in general, kept us engaged, explained us everything in details about Stonehenge, Windsor castle! Would definitely recommend his services to my fellow friends!

Stonehenge & Bath

This was a great tour. Andrew was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Both locations are places I've wanted to visit for a long time and I was not disappointed! Bath was busy but manageable due to it being the middle of winter. I do prefer smaller group tours and wasn't aware that there would be dozens of other people on it and that we would be travelling on a large coach, however this did not impede the experience too much. I do wish that I had a bit more time to explore Bath. I rushed through the Roman Baths experience a little bit so that I had time to explore the town, so I wish some more time was available overall.

Date of experience : January 19, 2023

Dear Kate Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad to hear that you found Andrew’s knowledge engaging and that the tour met your expectations for the locations you’ve long wanted to visit. We understand that the size of the group and coach might not have been what you initially anticipated, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t have as much time as you would have liked to explore Bath and the Roman Baths. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve the experience for future guests. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a more leisurely visit for you in the future. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Enjoy the travel with Robert and Janus

I’m lucky to meet Robert who tells great stories about places we visited and takes good care of everyone of us. I’m travelling alone, I feel safe to enjoy Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford with him. Helpful and humorous Robert, thank you! Janus gives me a perfect ride all the way and thank you to be our reliable driver! Magnificent & valuable trip!

Date of experience : October 07, 2022

Dear VIVIAN LING Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Robert’s storytelling and care made your solo trip to Windsor, Stonehenge, and Oxford so enjoyable and reassuring. It’s also great to know that Janus provided a perfect and reliable ride throughout the journey. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’re delighted that you found the trip both magnificent and valuable. We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Tour Oxford/Stonehenge/Windsor

Just did the Tour Oxford/Stonehenge/Windsor and it was amazing! Lots of information about the places we were visiting - Robert knows everything! The pilot of the coach was also very kind - sometimes he slowed down so we could take pictures of the outside. In conclusion, it is a great plan if you are in a rush and don’t have enough time to visit those places separately.

Date of experience : December 26, 2022

Dear Luana Minossi Pazos Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Oxford, Stonehenge, and Windsor tour and found Robert’s knowledge impressive. It’s great to know that our driver also contributed to your experience by providing opportunities for photos. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that the tour was a great solution for your time constraints. We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure in the future! Fantastic Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge Tour

We took the tour to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge in late June and it was fantastic! I was worried it would be too much for one day but thanks to the great driving of Aaron and our tour guide Peter - it was fantastic! Of course you can always use more time in places like Windsor Castle and Bath, but Peter explained the best things to see so we could manage our time accordingly. He also provided a lot of useful and interesting information while we were driving to each place which made the journey more enjoyable. I recommend this tour highly and hope you're lucky enough to get Peter as a guide.

Date of experience : June 30, 2023

Dear Susan Halasz Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience on our Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge tour! We’re delighted to hear that Aaron’s great driving and Peter’s expert guidance made the day enjoyable and well-organized. It's wonderful to know that Peter's recommendations helped you make the most of your time at each site and that his informative commentary enhanced your journey. Your high recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope you have Peter as your guide on future tours as well. Looking forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

We took a tour from London to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Rowan, our tour guide, told us interesting historical facts along the way. Patrick, our driver, was an expert at navigating the heavy traffic. Our bus was clean. We picked 2 destinations, rather than 3, so we had enough time at each. Rowan walked us through Windsor with a dragon umbrella so that we could easily find her. She even has pictures to go with her stories. This was a lovely trip. If you go, make sure you go to Victoria Coach Station, not Victoria Cross, where the red busses are. #EvanEvansTours

AMERICAN and ASIAN TOURISTS - Avoid!!! (You will thank me later) This Tour is so unorganized that Americans (I am from Seattle) and Asians (who has numerous well conducted tours) will be in a shock. Here are the major surprises: 1. When you book the tour they don't tell you that all people in your family/group may not travel together!!!! There are multiple buses and you are not guaranteed to travel together. How on earth do you expect that when you go as family, your kids might be traveling separately from you?? I have taken conducted tours world over, and never have had this bizzare expectation. 2. My boarding was at 7:30AM. When I got to the meet up location (Victoria Coach Station), there was a boarding gate with our exact tour company, tour name and tour time displayed, with people lining up. I lined up as well, and after a long wait (15 mins), I got near the bus, and the Guide tell me - "Oh you are not on this bus, you need to go back and talk to one of the people running around with the "List". Time is now 7;45AM. I caught one of those "List" people and she pointed me to another bus. I caught up with that bus' guide (one Mr. Robert) (time 7:50AM), and he tells me that seats are almost all taken, and find single spots here and there and sit. We are a family of 4 with two kids, and they expect YOUR KIDS TO SIT WITH STRANGERS OR, ON DIFFERENT BUS --- FOR A 12 HR TOUR!!!!!! Obviously, there were no seats together, so I went back to the tour Guide (Robert) and asked him why do four of us have to split and travel separately even after booking together, and even after arriving at 7:30PM. His reply was that "You were late" - even ignoring the fact that I stood in line since 7:30 on the exact tour's line. When telling him that "This should have been mentioned at booking time", he threatened to kick me and kids out of the tour. So I asked for and talked to a supervisor. He was understanding and acknowledged that they should have made it clear on the booking site that that all parties may not travel/sit together, but was largely helpless - since Robert seem to tell him out right - I am not doing anything to accommodate. In the meanwhile, another lady with clipboard came listening to the conversation and without any prompt or context (that I came early and stood in the line and then got redirected after 15 minutes), started telling me "YOU CAME LATE AND EXPECT TO SIT TOGETHER? I AM GOING TO MAKE A DECISION TO GO WITHOUT YOU SINCE IT IS 8 O CLOCK". I know when a company tries to help and when one hires staff who talks to certain foreign origin customers with some preconceived bias, so I walked away quietly (I am of Indian origin, so may be the lady thought she could bully me into shutting up). Anyway, thanks to some people in the bus, two of my kids were able to sit together in the last seat. When I got inside the bus, it looked like automatically the people in the last rows of seat were all non British tourists - so there's that! Lastly, I am 5' 6" tall. Look at my leg room in the picture. If you are any taller than that you will be sitting in an awkward position for 8 hrs. AVOID! Pay more and hire a private tour elsewhere or find a better tour company - there are many operating out of Victoria Coach Station.

We did a tour of Windsor Castle and Inner Circle Stone Henge --- it was amazing. Don't do very many tours, and found this one by luck, but highly recommend!!! Simon was our tour guide and he was clearly the difference between good and great. He added tons of valuable commentary, had a fantastic sense of humor, and made it memorable. Fantastic experience at the Stones - make sure you do the 5:30am tour, yes it is early, but definitely worth it!

Evan Evans Tour was an excellent choice for a bus tour. They were very organized at the departure facility amongst the many different outgoing tours. Our guide Simon and driver Mohamed made for a relaxing and enjoyable 12 hour day trip visiting Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. On any future return trip to London for a bus tour, we will tour with Evan Evans Tour.

Did the Stonehenge, Windsor castle and Bath tour with our tour guide Kevin. Long day but a great tour and kevin was very knowledgeable and entertaining. If you choose this tour ask for Kevin

Did the London walking tour with Connor! What a great tour. Even though it was 93 degrees everyone stayed for the whole tour. Not only is Connor exceptionally knowledgeable he is very funny. Had us is all the right changes for the changing of the guard among highlights. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Connor

Evans tours is mediocre at best. One tour we took that included the Tower of London didn't leave enough time actually see everything at the Tower before it closed. The Jack the Ripper tour was terrible as well. They said fish and chips was included. Yeah more like 1 fish nugget and some chips. Showed us a bunch of new buildings so we could imagine where things took place. Waste of time. Just watch a documentary and you'll learn more.

Ticket pricing does not include food or Stonehenge tickets. You can buy entry tickets to Stonehenge on-site for about 20 to 25 pounds (around $25 to $31) depending on the time of the year, or you can buy them online in advance for a slight discount.
