We rate our trips on three levels: Easy, Moderate, and Difficult.  The average person will have little difficulty on a Easy or Moderate walk.  Generally, we never walk for more than a few minutes without stopping to point out some unique feature or interesting character. 

We will have a meal break (cost not included) generally around 1 pm.  We have also mapped out multiple restroom facilities along the routes we walk. There will be ample opportunity for shopping along the way and the trip leader is flexible if you need to dash into a shop for a purchase that cannot wait.  ​ ​

Botanical Gardens and River Adventure

Don't just wonder aimlessly in the garden - Visit one of the world's top Botanical Gardens on a guided tour walking all it's lush flower trails including spending at least 1-2 hours exploring, swimming, relaxing in the nearby river.

Botanical Gardens & El Tuito by SUV

Visit the world famous Vallarta Botanical Gardens and the historic rural town of El Tuito with stops at coffee demonstration, petroglyphs, tequila tasting, and much more.  Travel in air conditioned SUV or mini bus depending on number of participants.

Food & Shopping Tour of Old Town Pitillal (Easy Walk) 

Pitillal started out as a rancho along the Pitillal River several miles upriver from Puerto Vallarta.  Over the past decades it has been surrounder by PV but retains its original small town character.    Tour by request with 4 or more in your group.  

Boca to Las Animas Hike 

Boca de Tomatlan is located approximately 10 miles outside of Puerto Vallarta on the southern coast of the bay.  It is a beautiful jungle hike on a well worn  path along the coast to the old fishing rancho of Las Animas. Includes stops at Playa Colomitos, Playa Madagascar, and Playa Caballo.

The Grand Walking Adventure all over Puerto Vallarta 

This adventure is our most extreme walking adventure due to its length.  We will cover up to 10 miles walking over many parts of the mostly non tourist area of Puerto Vallarta.  The first half is along the hillsides neighborhoods so you get great vistas to the valley below with sweeping views across into the state of Nayarit which occupies half of the river valley where Puerto Vallarta is located.   Tour by request with 2 or more in your group.

Yelapa on the Sea

We will travel to the remote and picturesque seaside fishing village of Yelapa. There we will walk the beautiful (carless) sidewalks and paths of the village including an easy hike to their famous waterfall, Museum, and plenty of beach time.

Family Friendly Waterfall & Jungle Hike

Explore the jungle on a trail crossing the river several times with opportunities to refresh in larger swimming holes.  Reach the romantic falls after an easy hike of up to 1 hour.  Trip 4 hours total.

Sayulita & San Pancho Beach Walking Adventure

 We will bus to San Pancho and explore the small beach town and appreciate it's slower and relaxed atmosphere.  Then we will explore the beach and hike to the more well know tourist surf town of Sayulita to explore.   Tour by request with 4 or more in your group.

"El Centro" Dance Club, Pub, Karaoke Bar Tour (Evening)   Easy Walk !

Adults only - No minors.  

On this adventure we will walk by and discuss virtually all of the 25+ bars and clubs in the "El Centro" of Puerta Vallarta. (Generally all heterosexual)  We will visit inside many of them and enjoy cocktails at several.  Bring your dancing shoes and your singing voice for Karaoke.  

Romantic Zone Gay Bar  Discovery Tour and other Gay Themed Tours   Easy Walk!

On the Gay Bar Tour we will walk by and discuss nearly all 30+ Gay bars and clubs in the "Romantic Zone" of Puerta Vallarta.  We will visit inside most of them and enjoy cocktails at several.  Bring your dancing shoes and singing voice for karaoke.  Additional Gay Tours available.

El Tuito Town Walk

Walking "The Historic Heart" of Puerto Vallarta

This walk covers much of the oldest most interesting (yet neglected by tourists) sections of Puerto Vallarta including parts of: The Malecon, Cinco Decembre, El Centro, Gringo Gultch, Coloso, Emiliano Zapata (Romantic Zone) Cochas Chinas, 2 historic Mercardos, Cemeteries, and Mirador (the Cross at the lookout.) Join us on this free hike/walk where we choose a different trail or urban road to pick up trash and litter while we explore the area.
