A pleasant circular walk along the route of the P.O.C. and on the banks of the Vézère.From the reception area for the Petite Gare, take the marked path (old railway line now GR 46) and go along the Garenne du Puy Grolier (rabbit warren) which leads to the old carding mills.Cross the bridge at the confluence of the Ruisseau d'Espartignac with the Vézère.Once you are across, take the road on the right for 200 to 300 metres, then the road on the right which runs alongside the Vézère. The landscape of greenery and water extends along the shore and arrives, in the shade, at the sports resort, Station Sports Nature Vézère Passion, which offers multiple activities. Continue along the Vézère.The circuit continues along Rue de l'Abreuvoir, which leads up to the old town.After the Simone de Beauvoir Media Library, continue along Rue de la Justice.At the Place de l'Hospice turn right again and cross the Vézère again via the Turgot bridge to reach the starting point again.

From Avenue du Général de Gaulle (main road) in Uzerche, take the D920 for about 500m in the direction of Tulle, then turn left on the D142 towards Espartignac.Take the D142 E6 towards Ceyrat (D920E). Go past the St-Martial fountain with the sculpture "Nymph getting ready to bathe".Go down to the old P.O.C. (Paris-Orléans-Corrèze) road and turn right for 1 km, on the left is the Planquette bridge, about 200m further on your right is the old station.Continue until you reach the D142.Pass in front of the sculpture, "Prometheus", and at this point take the road ahead on the right.Then, after 50 m, on the right take the wooden steps in the embankment. Then follow the path through woods and fields.At the intersection turn left in front of the "Dolmen" information panel. Follow the steep path, continue through a carpet of periwinkle and find the "Dolmen" below.To return, take the same path againAt the intersection, turn left. Go down to the POC road, cross it and take the opposite path up to the road.Once on the road, turn right. Go up to Bois Lafage and continue on the main road. Pass a big bend to the right.Then at the exit of the next bend (to the left), at the intersection, turn left (between the embankment and the power pole to pass behind the house. Follow the path to the village of Bois Lafage.When you reach the asphalt road, turn right and follow it immediately to the right. On the main road, turn left; continue on this road until you reach Surget.At the first house follow the road on the right. Go through the village.After the last house, continue on the road ahead. Go up to the crossroads.At the intersection, turn right then immediately take the path to the right. At the crossroads take the path opposite and continue to the road.On the road, turn right then 40 m further on take the path on the left.At the crossroads, take the path opposite which runs alongside the main road.At the next two intersections, turn right to return to the main road at the corner of the school. On the main road, turn right and go through the houses, and, at the intersection, take the path opposite.Where the paths cross, turn left and continue until you reach point 6.Turn left and go back through the village of Surget to reach point 5.Take the path that goes up on the right then take the first path on the left and follow it.When you get to the main road, turn right again, pass in front of the Marteau mill then continue on, up in the village.

Between small hamlets and woodland, discover the traditional local architecture of Rilhac-Treignac and its many restored bread ovens.2 circuits available: a short circuit (4.7 km - 1hr 30mins) and a long circuit (9.7 km - 2hrs 30mins)Go towards the church next to the Presbytery, where you will find Sully’s majestic lime trees. Continue behind the church, a lectern allows you to discover the Massif des Monédières and the Vézère Valley.Then leave in the direction of the main road (Uzerche Chamberet).Turn right at the communal oven and continue straight ahead. After 200 m, on the left, it is possible to see the “Lauzanne” oven.Follow the path that leads to a road, turn right, and you can see the “Jorby-Caudy” oven on the left. Continue along the road, and 100 m further, on the right, you will find the “Faroux” oven.Shortly after, turn left at the well. At the end of the path, a round trip allows you to see the oven of “Le Genêt” 150 m further on. Retrace your steps and turn right to go through the hamlet of Le Teyssier.At the crossroads, go past the “du Teyssier” oven, continue right until you reach the Rilhac-Treignac sign, and turn left towards La Goupillère.In the village, from the path, you can see the “La Goupillère” oven. This serpentine heathland, one of the most beautiful in the region, covers some twenty hectares. Although it lost its rocky chaos in the 1950s to stone the roads used for land consolidation, the site retains its picturesque appearance of mesophilic heath, with small patches of Fétuque de Léman lawn. The site is home to the only Limousin station of Gentian champêtre. There are also some fine views of the Monédières (19) and Mont Gargan (87) from the high point of this heathland. Natura 2000 site. Close to the Maison du Forgeron, with its charming stone walls and exposed beams, the Chauffour gîte has everything you could wish for: a spacious living area with lounge (wifi, TV), dining area and carefully fitted kitchen (ovens, fridge, extractor fan, dishwasher, small electrical appliances, washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room). The spacious bathroom with double-basins, walk-in shower and toilet is located on the ground floor. On the 1st floor, the landing has been converted into a relaxation area or extra bedroom (sofa bed), leading to 3 pleasant bedrooms (3 double beds). And to make the most of this beautiful Corrèze countryside, there's a huge park with century-old trees, a private spa and swimming pool, and a nearby pond for fishing or canoeing. This rental is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Domaine de la Plantade is a small farm campsite situated on a 20 hectare estate where our horses and sheep graze. The hilly terrain offers a varied landscape of meadows, bushes and streams. It is freely accessible to our guests. We have 6 spacious pitches, in the shade, half-shade or sun, as you wish. We rent a fully furnished tent with two comfortable beds and everything you need for a pleasant camping stay, including linen. Here you can relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. If you prefer to be active, there are plenty of sporting and cultural activities in the area. Several times a week we cook for our guests. If you sign up, you can have a drink and enjoy a good meal.
