Agoda is biggest scammer..they advertise a ridiculous hotel rate than but a 70% discount on the rate so it seems your getting 60-70% or even 80% discount but in fact booking with agoda is always 5-10% more expensive then booking directly with the hotel. Do not be taken in by their discount rate they are all fake. 106.

Agoda is running a shady business (even scam), where they work with third parties and the booking fails at check-in. I checked with the property and they mentioned this has happened in the past. I used trip.com and it was fantastic. never use Agoda, avoid like the flu, use trip or other providers.

a) Agoda offers $500 for 3 nights while other competitors offer $530. It seems AGODA offers the cheapest price at first. b) When you check out they charge the hotel fee $500 again. If I discover this and complain they give back my money but deduct "$50 cancellation fee".

I booked accommodation in Queenstown New Zealand through Agoda.com for the recent New Year's holiday 2016/17. I booked on June 4 2016 and received a confirmation email stating: "Your booking is confirmed and complete!"
