Reba McEntire Tickets on Country Music On Tour

Reba McEntire is without doubt one of the finest women in country music history. From her strong Oklahoma roots to her outstanding history of breaking records in country music, Reba has earned her place at the top of Nashville’s pinnacle of success.

Reba McEntire Biography

Reba Nell McEntire , known simply as Reba, is more than just an American country music singer and actress; she’s a living legend, the embodiment of the heart and soul of country music. With tour dates that have resonated with fans around the world, Reba has proven time and again why she’s hailed as “the Queen of Country.” Her journey from a humble Oklahoma upbringing to the bright lights of Nashville is a story of passion, perseverance, and profound talent.

Tour Dates That Tell a Tale:

  • Reba’s music has touched the hearts of millions, with over 100 singles gracing the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart since the 1970s, and an astounding 25 of those singles reaching the coveted number one spot.
  • Her live shows are legendary, where fans experience the magic of her timeless hits. From the moment she steps on stage, Reba weaves a musical tapestry that captivates her audience.

Awards and Achievements:

  • Grammy Award Winner for the iconic “Whoever’s in New England.”
  • An unstoppable force in country music, Reba has sold over 75 million records worldwide, solidifying her status as a true country icon.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Reba’s journey began as a young girl, singing harmonies with her siblings as “The Singing McEntires.” They performed at local events, planting the seeds of what would become an extraordinary career. Her path led her to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she studied to be a teacher while continuing to pursue her musical dreams.

Nashville Calling:

The turning point came when the talented Red Steagall discovered Reba’s enchanting voice at a rodeo event. Steagall’s belief in her potential led to a life-changing moment. With Steagall’s help, she secured a recording contract with PolyGram/Mercury Records in 1975, embarking on her journey to Nashville.

A Musical Evolution:

While her early years with PolyGram/Mercury Records saw moderate success, it was her transition to MCA Records in 1984 that marked a new chapter. “My Kind of Country” was a game-changer, bringing two number one Billboard country singles and a shift towards a more traditional musical style.

In 1991, tragedy struck when Reba lost eight of her band members in a plane crash, leading to her critically acclaimed album, “For My Broken Heart.” This profound experience inspired her highest-selling album to date.

The Artistic Chameleon:

Reba’s career isn’t limited to music; her versatility shines in the world of acting. From her film debut in “Tremors” to her role as Annie Oakley in the Broadway musical “Annie Get Your Gun,” she’s left an indelible mark.

In 2001, “Reba,” the TV series where she starred, graced our screens, and her recent venture as a coach on “The Voice” from 2023 onwards is a testament to her timeless appeal.

Reba’s life is a true embodiment of the American dream, a tale of family, love, and unwavering dedication. Her journey from the heart of Oklahoma to the epicenter of country music in Nashville is a testament to the power of dreams and the ability to transcend boundaries.

“Can’t Even Get the Blues” Lyrics

I walk into the kitchen, the silverware is gone The furniture is missing, I guess you got it all, uh uh This is where it ought to hurt Seems like every time you leave me You try to think of something worse I can’t even get the blues no more I try to worry like I did before And nothing happens when I walk the floor So what am I supposed to do? I toss and turn but then I fall asleep I’m going under but it’s not too deep You want to hurt me but it’s just no use I can’t even get the blues Well, this time ain’t no different, the sun’s up in the sky Sitting on the back porch, clouds are rolling by Oh, this is where it ought to rain But it doesn’t really matter To me it’s all about the same I can’t even get the blues no more I try to worry like I did before And nothing happens when I walk the floor So what am I supposed to do? I toss and turn but then I fall asleep I’m going under but it’s not too deep You try to hurt me but it’s just no use I can’t even get the blues I can’t even get the blues no more I try to worry like I did before And nothing happens when I walk the floor So what am I supposed to do? I toss and turn but then I fall asleep I’m going under but it’s not too deep You want to hurt me but it’s just no use I can’t even get the blues

Updated:

Reba McEntire has revealed a 17-city fall arena tour Reba: Live In Concert, featuring special guest Terri Clark. The tour kicks off in Lafayette, Lousiana on Oct. 13 and will conclude on Nov. 19 in Wichita, Kansas.

Videos by American Songwriter

“I can’t wait to see everyone out on the road again this fall,” said McEntire in a statement. “We had so much fun in the spring, and I’m ready to get back out there with my buddy Terri Clark.”

McEntire, who recently finished filming her next Lifetime movie Reba McEntire’s The Hammer , and will continue shooting the third season of the ABC show Big Sky between tour stops in October and November, had to postpone her “Live” tour for two years. When McEntire was rehearsing for the first part of Reba: Live in Concert in 2020, she lost her mother, Jacqueline Smith, 93, to cancer before everything shut down around the pandemic.

“I was in Oklahoma helping my brother and sisters take care of Momma, flying back and forth to Nashville (for) rehearsals,” said McEntire in a recent interview. “She passed in the middle of March and I went back home for the funeral. That’s when COVID broke out. We didn’t even get to have a funeral.”

Returning to the road was a long time coming for McEntire, and one she intends to have fun with along with country singer and friend Clark on board. “Terri and I have toured before,” said McEntire. One tour we were with Brad Paisley, so we called it the ‘Two Hats and a Redhead tour.’”

She added, “Everybody knows that I want to have fun doing what I’m doing. I want to do work that’s fun.”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. ( WZTV ) — Country music’s Reba McEntire is taking on a new business venture. The “Fancy” singer is set to open a restaurant, bar, store and live music venue in 2022.

Constructed inside a century-old Masonic Temple in Atoka, Oklahoma, “Reba’s Place” will feature two stories of dining space, a restored antique bar on the main floor, a retail shop, and live musical performances. Reba says she's "thrilled to pieces" for fans to enjoy "a little pickin' and grinnin' and singin'" in the new venue.

Guests will have their choice of menu highlights like the “Fancy” steak dinner, street tacos and Reba’s favorite dish, pinto beans and corn bread. Inspired by the country queen’s western heritage, the space, in partnership with the Choctaw Nation and city of Atoka, will include a curated collection of memorabilia and personal archives from Reba.

“I’m very excited to be opening a place so close to my roots,” shared Reba. “The Choctaw Nation and the city of Atoka are wonderful partners and I can’t wait to welcome our first guests to Reba’s Place. We are working very hard to create something not only for the local community, but that will also bring in folks from across the country.”

Throughout the years, Reba’s career has spanned across music, film, theater, television and retail. The venue is the latest professional move from the multi-media entertainment entrepreneur.

The “Reba’s Place” announcement follows the release of Reba’s three-part box set REVIVED REMIXED REVISITED, a reimagined collection of her most iconic songs. The Country Music Hall of Fame member has previously scored 35 career No. 1 singles and sold more than 56 million albums worldwide.

Reba McEntire Fans Have Major Mixed Feelings About Her Tour Announcement on Instagram

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through the links below."

Reba McEntire fans, hold on to your cowboy hats over this news. Since announcing the release of her latest album My Chains Are Gone earlier this year, fans have been wondering what the Queen of Country is going to do next. Thanks to a surprise announcement on Instagram, we've got our answer.

On July 11, the former Reba actress shocked fans when she revealed her next career move in a short but sweet Instagram video. The Grammy-winning country music singer excitedly shared that she's going on tour this fall with fellow musician Terri Clark . Spanning 17 dates across 11 different states, fans can get a chance to see the Malibu Country star live on stage when tickets go on sale July 15 at 10 a.m. local time. And in typical Reba fashion, she alerted her followers of the news with a fun remix of her hit song " Fancy ."

"Hey, it's Reba and I'm so excited to be headed back out on tour this fall," the " I'm a Survivor " singer said in the Instagram clip . "We had so much fun in the spring, we just had to get back out there and do it again. Head over to reba.com for all the latest date and ticket information. I can't wait to see you."

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Reba (@reba)

We're thrilled to see Reba hitting the road once again! As she mentioned, this isn't her first tour this year. In early January, she traveled across the United States performing in her " Reba in Concert Tour ," which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unsurprisingly, fans of the vocalist are completely into the idea of Reba playing more songs in-person ... but they do have some mixed feelings about the venues she's playing at.

"Please come back to Canada soon. Your Canadian fans miss you too. ❤️❤️,” one fan pleaded in the singer's Instagram comments. “😭😭😭 you’re not coming anywhere near me!!” another fan lamented. And one more follower asked about a different project altogether: “[OK] but let’s reboot the Reba show [please] 🤍🤍🤍.”

Unfortunately, there is no news on whether the singer's hit sitcom Reba will ever have a reboot. But it doesn't mean she's not reuniting with fellow costars! As it turns out, she'll be sharing the screen with Melissa Peterman . The two are set to play sisters in the Lifetime movie The Hammer . It's just what Barbra Jean always wanted!

All that said, we're so excited to see Reba take on the world, one amazing project at a time!

Huge payout expected for a rare coin bought by Ohio farm family and hidden for decades

Three sisters from Ohio who inherited a dime kept in a bank vault for more than 40 years knew it had some value.
