Eagles Announce U.S Dates for ‘Hotel California’ 2022 Tour

The legendary band, Eagle,s has announced a set of upcoming tour dates for 2022 that the group is calling its “Hotel California” 2022 Tour.

The new dates are a continuation of the shows the band played earlier this year on its “Hotel California” 2021 series .

Fans will be treated to a plethora of hits from the Grammy Award-winning, Los Angeles-born band, which will be comprised of frontman Don Henley, guitarist Joe Walsh, bassist Timothy B. Schmit, singer and guitar player Vince Gill, and vocalist Deacon Frey, son of former Eagles singer Glenn Frey.

Tickets go on sale December 3. In total, the band now has eight U.S. dates and five more in Europe. And the group announced the upcoming shows on Facebook , writing:

“Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill –announce the band’s ‘Hotel California’ 2022 Tour. Concerts have been set in Savannah, GA; Charlotte, NC; Orlando. The Eagles had previously announced dates overseas, beginning in the Netherlands on June 17 and wrapping in London’s New Hyde Park on June 26, 2022. The band will be joined by an opening act (so to speak) of Hall of Famer Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on the June 26 gig in London.

The  Hotel California  tour came about after the Eagles performed three sold-out  Hotel California  gigs in Las Vegas last year. The show features a full-album performance of the supergroup’s 1976 classic, with the Eagles playing alongside an orchestra and a choir, as well as a second set of the band’s greatest hits.

The Eagles, who are known as one of the best selling bands of all time, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. The band, which released its self-titled debut album in 1972, is sure to have many fans staying at the proverbial hotel. Check out the live concert footage below.

Eagles Announce Spring 2022 Tour Dates Playing ‘Hotel California’ in Full

The Eagles have announced an extended slate of concerts for their upcoming spring tour across the United States, where the rock legends will perform their influential 1976 album Hotel California in its entirety, along with an additional set of greatest hits.

And not only will the landmark Eagles album be played in full, it will also be bolstered by an orchestra and 22-piece choir joining the group onstage at each show. The tour leg kicks off on March 17 in Cleveland and covers the country over the next three months. Several 2022 Hotel California dates were announced last year ; more concerts were added just this week.

Surviving Eagles members Don Henley , Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit will join country icon Vince Gill and the late  Glenn Frey 's son, Deacon Frey, for the concerts. Gill and Deacon joined the band after Glenn's death in 2016, splitting his duties across various Eagles hits.

The Eagles originally announced the Hotel California  tour for 2020 after playing a Las Vegas residency devoted to the album in 2019. They did initial shows through February 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to reschedule most dates .

Hotel California contains the Eagles' signature hit of the same name, of course, in addition to the singles "New Kid in Town," "Life in the Fast Lane" and deep cuts such as "Victim of Love" and "Try and Love Again."

Can I bring water or food to Footprint Center?

No outside food, beverages, coolers, bottles or cans may be brought into Footprint Center, although one sealed plastic water bottle is allowed per guest for Suns, Mercury and Rattlers games. Sealed water bottles may be prohibited for select concerts. 

Children's items such as baby bottles and formula will be allowed.

Is Footprint Center heated?

According to its website, Footprint Center "maintains certain temperatures during all events." These temperatures are determined event by event.

Footprint Center bag policy: Can you bring a purse or backpack?

Standard backpacks are not permitted inside Footprint Center. 

Single-compartment drawstring bags, purses and diaper bags that have the appearance of a standard backpack and media backpacks are allowed as long as they meet the NBA bag-size requirements of 14 by 14 by 6 inches.

Guests with bags larger than 4 inches by 6 inches are required to be screened through X-ray machines. Guests with no bags or clutches smaller than 4 inches by 6 inches can use Evolv express entry lanes for quickest entry. 

What is prohibited at Footprint Center for concerts?

The following items are not allowed inside Footprint Center for concerts:

• Backpacks (with the exception of single-compartment drawstring bags that meet the NBA bag-size requirements and media backpacks that have been screened at the media entrance. Purses and diaper bags are allowed provided that they meet the size requirements.
• Bottles, cans and coolers.

Can I bring a sign to let the Eagles know how much I love them?

Banners and signs are allowed at Footprint Center; they must be constructed of flame-retardant material. Signs must be made of a soft material that can be folded (e.g. poster board or cloth). Banners or signs may not be commercial in nature or obscene, or cause any disturbance to other fans.

Banners and signs must be hand held and may not obstruct the view of other guests or Footprint Center advertising signage or be temporarily or permanently affixed to the building structure. Footprint Center reserves the right to remove any banner or sign. Signs should not be larger than 11 by 17 inches.

Cash is not accepted at Footprint Center. Use Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover during your visit.

Footprint Center smoking policy

Footprint Center is a smoke-free facility with no designated smoking area outside. Smoking of all kinds including e-cigarettes is prohibited. Guests who fail to comply will be asked to cease smoking. Those continuing to violate the policy will be ejected, so you do not want to take it to that limit.

Reentry is not available for any games, concerts, or events at Footprint Center.

Paramedics and EMTs are present during all events at Footprint Center. First aid is lon the main concourse across from Section 116.

If you're coming from west/southwest Phoenix:

If you're coming from east Phoenix :

Valley Metro light rail to Footprint Center

In partnership with Valley Metro light rail, Footprint Center and the Phoenix Suns have established the Rail Ride Event program, which allows guests who purchase a ticket to an event at Footprint Center to ride Valley Metro light rail at no additional cost on the day of the event.

Valley Metro will recognize Footprint Center event tickets as valid light rail fare on the day of the event for four hours prior to the start of the event through the end of the transit day.

Two important things to know:

• You must have your event ticket on your person when riding light rail and must show your ticket to a fare inspector upon request. Failure to show a valid ticket can result in fines ranging from $50 to $500.
• Footprint Center event tickets are good for light rail only; they are not valid as bus fare.

TRANSPORTATION IN FRANCE

TRAVELING BETWEEN MAJOR CITIES WITHIN FRANCE.

Traveling by train across France is a great way to see the country. There are many options, from the High-speed TGV intercity Express services, to regional and local networks. Rail passes are a very cost-effective way to travel and most cover all trains in France.

We let you book your own rail passes or tickets so you can get exactly the right number of travel days and class of service that you are comfortable with. You can also go on to the SNCF (French rail) website and book point to point individual tickets once the inventory comes into system range – usually about 11 months in advance of travel.

TRAVELLING AROUND WITHIN FRENCH VENUE CITIES.

All Travel Modules, in all venue cities where we include accommodation, include transportation on local transport (Rail, Bus, RER and Metro) within that venue city, utilizing re-chargeable cards we supply you with. This is by far the most convenient, most economical way to get around the venue city, including to the stadium.  

GAME DAY ROUND TRIP HOTEL TO STADIUM TRANSPORT.

This is included for all our travelers for all games and included in the cost of your Travel Module when the stadium is in the same city as the Module accommodation. Forms of transport vary and are generally via train, metro, RER, bus or shuttle transfer.

VENUE CITY AIRPORT DEPARTURE TRANSFERS.

Almost all of France’s international and domestic airports and rail stations are easily reached via multiple forms of transport – including public transport. Since in most cases, we will not know your arrival and departure plans into the venue cities, we leave this up to you.

Each Module purchased comes with a transportation travel card that we use for travel to and from the stadium on game days. These cards are rechargeable so by adding credit you will be able to use this card to transfer to the airport or intercity rail station on the final day of your module.

VENUE CITY AIRPORT ARRIVAL TRANSFERS TO THE HOTEL.

Your travel Module commences upon your arrival at the hotel included in the Module you purchase. It is your responsibility to make your way to the hotel on day one (1) of each module you purchase.
