Breaking news, inside the las vegas digs mike tyson bought after years of money trouble.
When Mike Tyson isn’t throwing punches , he’s chilling out in a fairly modest Las Vegas home that he’s owned for the past six years.
One of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, Tyson earned more than $400 million over the course of his professional boxing career, but shelled out a mere $2.5 million for his six-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate back in 2015.
Located in Henderson, Nevada — a few minutes from Sin City — it is the sole property that “The Baddest Man on the Planet” owns.
Unfortunately for the legendary pugilist, his net worth diminished significantly when he was forced to declare bankruptcy in 2003 after finding himself drowning in $23 million worth of debt, The Post reported at the time.
Tyson also reportedly tore through $300 million over the years on multiple homes, cars, jewels and, of course, pet tigers.
And although still a considerably large estate by average American standards, it doesn’t quite scream someone who was once worth a half-billion dollars. Today, average celebrity homes cost around $20 million.
The Post has obtained photos of the home’s interior.
Situated on almost an acre of land in the upscale Seven Hills neighborhood, the home does come with a lot of space — spanning 10,400 square feet, to be exact.
It also features two casitas, including one full apartment.
Amenities include a media room, a wine cellar, two grand master suites — one on the first floor and one on the second — plus a disappearing-edge swimming pool, spa, an outdoor kitchen and an expansive covered patio.
The Italian-style residence also features custom iron railings, arched doorways, coffered ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, stone fireplaces, marble flooring and a marble staircase.
The gourmet kitchen comes with Thermador stainless steel appliances, a large island with a breakfast bar and custom cabinetry.
Luxury Homes of Las Vegas held the previous listing.
Tyson’s latest scuffle took place on Wednesday night. A video captured the boxing champ on an airplane to Florida pummeling a man who was “aggressive” and had thrown a water bottle at him , according to Tyson’s reps.
He was on a JetBlue flight from San Francisco to Miami, where he later appeared at a weed conference after-party. Tyson is also a well-known evangelist for the benefits of tripping on toad venom and even raises psychedelic toads himself.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” representatives for Tyson told The Post in a statement.
“Officers arrived and detained two subjects that were believed to be involved in the incident. One subject was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. That subject provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation,” San Francisco police said in a statement.
Both men were released pending further investigation, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office added.
A two-part, four-hour documentary — “ Mike Tyson: The Knockout ” — took a fresh look at Tyson’s troubled past last May.

Meet Sophia Chen, the boss editor at Crazy Luxury Homes! She’s the one picking out the coolest houses for you. Sophia turns homes into stories, making sure each one is a must-see.
Mike Tyson, the famed boxer, has rebounded from financial turmoil to establish a new beginning in a modest Las Vegas residence.
Situated in Henderson, Nevada, this home signifies a fresh start and a move toward stability.
Check out Mike Tyson’s move from hardship to peace in his Vegas home below.
Throughout his career, Tyson, once dubbed “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” earned over $400 million, a sum that allowed for lavish spending.
However, a financial crisis in 2003, leading to $23 million in debt, forced Tyson to reconsider his lifestyle.
His financial troubles were due to excessive spending on homes, cars, jewelry, and even pet tigers, which nearly cost him everything.
In 2015, Tyson made a fresh start by purchasing a $2.5 million home in Henderson, close to the Las Vegas strip.
This six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house, which covers 10,400 square feet, is the only property in Tyson’s name.
Although it’s less extravagant than his previous homes, it features an elegant Italian-style design, with marble floors, custom ironwork, and a spiral staircase.
Outside, the property includes a stunning pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, and two guest houses, one of which is a complete apartment, all spread over nearly an acre of land.
The home is well-equipped for both relaxation and entertainment, with a cozy living room featuring a stone fireplace and a family room with a wet bar.
Moreover, the kitchen boasts premium Thermador appliances and a spacious island, making it ideal for culinary activities.
Despite its luxury, Tyson’s home is modest compared to the mansions of many celebrities.
It reflects a more down-to-earth Tyson who values financial wisdom.
His current lifestyle, including ventures into the cannabis industry and interest in psychedelic toads, as well as a potential return to fitness, shows his ongoing personal growth.
Tyson’s Las Vegas home is not just a residence but a symbol of his resilience and ability to rebuild his life.
It demonstrates his transition to a more balanced lifestyle, highlighting his journey from fame and financial loss to a stable and fulfilling life.

MIKE TYSON is back on top of the world again.
Fresh from starring on Broadway, re-telling his life story and building a cannabis empire , the former heavyweight champ has even returned to the gym ahead of a potential comeback.
And after a hard training session, he gets to come home to his plush digs - just a 10 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip.
'Iron Mike' lives in this gorgeous six-bedroom mansion that he paid £2.5million for in 2016.
Join us for a tour, without the need of an estate agent.
IT'S ROOMY
The 8,149 square-foot mansion in Henderson, Nevada, built in 2001, has plenty of indoor and outside space.
There are six spacious bedrooms and six bathrooms in his mediterranean-style villa.
Found behind the gated community of Seven Hills, where a private golf club and a number of leisure parks serve the affluent residents, Mike is a known face in the area.
In fact, his previous home - as was seen in The Hangover movie - is just round the corner.
Tyson bought this one simply because it's bigger.
A LUXURIOUS ABODE
As you walk into this luxurious abode, an expensive marble floor greets you and tells you that no expense was spared.
The master bedroom is the height of comfort - featuring a master suite that has a huge step-up bathtub, a fireplace and a private balcony.
Built on three-quarters of an acre - the property comes into its own when you venture outside.
A massive resort-style lagoon-like swimming pool and spa will help cool you down in the sticky summer climate.
As it is with the desert climate, in the evenings there is a cold wind in the air.

Mike Tyson buys new Las Vegas home — see inside!
Mike Tyson is racking up homes along one Las Vegas street the way he used to collect heavyweight titles.
The vicious-boxer-turned-jokey-entertainer just forked out $2.5 million for a 10,400-square-foot mansion a short walk from his current home in a suburban golf course community.
The six-bedroom, seven-bath Mediterranean-style villa has all the pomp and luxury you’d expect in a Vegas mansion, including a grand piano in the chandeliered marble foyer.
An open floor plan on the first level combines an expansive kitchen with a casual eating area and a family room with a wet bar big enough to deliver a punch. For knockout events, there’s a grand dining room and a great room with an ornate fireplace.
The massive master bath features lots of mirrors where Tyson can check out his facial tattoo, and a hot tub looking out onto a wide deck and the backyard swimming pool and spa.
Lest you worry that Tyson has bitten off more than he can chew, listing agent Ken Lowman from Luxury Homes of Las Vegas said he plans to list the champ’s smaller house down the street.

Mike Tyson Gives Migos a Tour of His Mansion—Birds Included
Mike Tyson deserves a belt for hospitality. Plenty of hosts offer tours of their homes to guests as a mere courtesy, not doing much more than pointing out rooms that exist—but not Tyson. No, he really wants visitors to know his space. . .and his birds . Tyson recently gave a tour of his mansion to Migos, a trio of rappers, in a video for GQ . Mostly, though, Tyson introduced Migos to his pets. Almost immediately upon the group's arrival at his pad, Tyson tells Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, "All right, let's check out my bird coop." There, Tyson easily has dozens of "top pedigree" birds, which he treats like absolute royalty. His feathered friends get only the best, with Fiji brand water bottles hooked up to each bird's feeder, and that kind of treatment breeds loyalty. As Tyson says, "They always come back. Unless a hawk gets them or something. Sometimes a hawk or a falcon will get 'em." Because what is a house tour without a bevy of fun facts?
Tyson also shows off his awards case of wrestling winnings and lets Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset try on the belts of their choosing. The next stop involves Tyson's eight-year-old daughter playing her heart out on a piano. What's not on the tour: Tyson's white tiger, who apparently is waiting to be sold. Their visit ends with Tyson giving Migos words of encouragement: "It's all about the future now. It's your guys' time." Perhaps we'll get a peek into their Atlanta mansions next.

Migos Take a Tour of Mike Tyson’s Mansion
The Migos are reaching monumental levels of success , and with that comes a lot of perks they're able to embrace. The hip-hop trio was recruited by GQ to take a trip to Mike Tyson 's mansion, where they got a full tour of the insides from the former boxing champion himself. Not only did the guys get to see his famous championship belts, but they also got a special glimpse at his bird room.
Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff arrive at Tyson's home in Las Vegas, where they were able to chop it up with the former fighter before he took them through his household. While in the car, the guys share their excitement over seeing the bird coop, with Quavo mentioning, "They say my boy Mike got the birds in the trap," as he and Offset imitate bird noises. The coop shows hundreds of birds in cages, where they're fed their own bottles of Fiji water. Tyson mentions that he keeps them in the coop for about two weeks before he lets them out to be free. He says they always come back, unless a hawk or a falcon gets them while they're out flying.
Later in the footage, the boys run into Mike Tyson's 8-year-old daughter Milan playing the piano in the living room, with them telling her to "keep it up." Fortunately, it's not the same daughter that Drizzy once tried to date , so the "Bad and Boujee" rappers didn't have to keep a distance.
Prior to leaving the house, Tyson tells Migos that the "future is now" and that "it's your guys' time" before chanting the catchy hook to their hit single "Versace."

Mike Tyson’s stunning houses throughout career, from a 21-bed Connecticut mansion to Ohio home which is now a church
- Published : 10:08 ET, Oct 7 2020
- Updated : 6:02 ET, Nov 27 2020
- Published : Invalid Date,
AS Mike Tyson rose through the ranks over the years to become heavyweight champion of the world, the boxing legend bought and sold some stunning homes.
'Iron Mike' came a long way from the humble beginnings of his childhood home in Brooklyn to mansions filled with tiger cages as millions of dollars poured in.
After losing it all, Tyson, now 54, is once again worth millions after launching his company Tyson Holistic and flogging medical marijuana.
And he's making his big boxing comeback in a hotly-anticipated exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr this Saturday night on November 28.
But it's his former homes that really amaze and show how the king of the ring loved living.
Tyson spent most of his childhood years in a modest apartment in Brooklyn in Brownsville in the mid 1970s.
It was a neighbourhood, at the time, that was a breeding ground for crime and most residents lived poorly.
In the past, Tyson has admitted mixing with criminals as he looked for acceptance and joined a gang of petty thieves.
But in his spare-time in the Brownsville abode, he became fascinated by pigeons.
He kept coops on the rooftop of the building and cared for the birds religiously.
Today, apartments in the area can fetch up to £500,000.
Tyson's fall from grace began in 1992, when he was convicted of rape and was sentenced to six years in prison, of which he served three.
Financially drained, he was forced to sell this incredible home in 1999 for around £855,000.
Today, remarkably, it's been converted into a church.
But in Tyson's day it boasted five bedrooms and a full-size pool and Jacuzzi alongside its tiger cages and basketball court, with the entire pad decked out with crystal chandeliers.
The delipidated pool has since been turned into a sanctuary while the living room is now a gathering place.
Remnants of the 53-year-old's time still remain with the basketball court still intact, as well as Mike Tyson's name etched onto the front gate.
The old fireplace has since been turned into an indoor waterfall while the four-bay garage is now classrooms and a nursery.
And the tall steel cages where Tyson kept his famous four tigers have been dismantled for a pavilion.
CONNECTICUT
In 2003, Tyson was declared bankrupt.
That meant he had to sell up again - and a 52-room mansion in Connecticut he used to live in was eventually bought by rapper 50 Cent for £3.3million.
Boasting 21 bedrooms, as well as its own nightclub the property is as lavish as Tyson has ever owned.
The 50,000-square-foot property also has 25 bathrooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, an indoor basketball court, multiple game rooms, a green-screen room, and a recording studio.
And the opulence doesn't end there.
Entering the property through a stately front gate, you're greeted by a lion statue.
However, the running costs - believed to be around £50,000-per-month - forced 50 Cent to sell the house in 2019.
Tyson's Maryland residence was bought with ex-wife Monica Turner in 1995.
The pair lived there through the early 2000s, until the pair divorced after she claimed he committed adultery.
Turner won the house in the divorce settlement, which is just 30 minutes from Washington DC.
It features seven bedrooms, a large gym, game room, swimming pool, sports court and a piano room.
It also overlooks the Congressional Country Club golf course, which has hosted several US Open tournaments.
Back in May, the home was listed for sale at £7million.
THE HANGOVER PAD
In 2008, Tyson let Hollywood film director Todd Phillips into his £1.5million Las Vegas pad to film legendary scenes from the hit comedy movie.
And what a lavish setting it is too.
Found in the beautiful gated community called Seven Hills in the suburb of Henderson, it boasts six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms and its own private balcony.
There's also the incredible 18-hole Rio Secco Golf Club to enjoy, as well as four large private parks filled with basketball courts, tennis courts and football pitches.
Like many new builds in Las Vegas within gated communities, the 5,740-square-feet mansion was built in an Italian style in 2001.
Two-storeys in size, the entrance opens to a grand reception room with a 25-foot-high lit waterfall, which connects to the great room that has a wet bar and fireplace.
Tyson lived in the property with third wife Lakiha, eventually selling it in 2016.
HIS CURRENT HOME
Today, back at the top, Tyson lives a life of luxury once more. And he loves living in Henderson, Las Vegas.
Shortly after he sold 'The Hangover' home, he bought this nearby mansion for £2.5million.
The 8,149 square-foot mansion in Henderson, Nevada, built in 2001, has plenty of indoor and outside space.
There are six spacious bedrooms and six bathrooms in his mediterranean-style villa.
Again, it's found in the gated community of Seven Hills - so it's surrounded by parks and tennis and basketball courts.
