The 1975 announce 2023 Australian Tour

The 1975 are jetting to our shores next year to showcase their upcoming album  Being Funny In A Foreign Language  (out 14 October). 

UPDATE:  Due to popular (unsurprising) demand, The 1975 have tacked on an additional Sydney show to the tour! 

Tickets for this new show at Qudos Bank Arena are on sale from 9am local time, Friday 20 January via Secret Sounds .

We've already heard a few cuts from the follow-up to their Aussie charts-topping fourth album  Notes On A Conditional Form , which shows that the influential UK group are as playful and genre-agnostic in their approach to pop music as ever.

We've had comeback single ' Part Of The Band ', the more intimate ' All I Need To Hear ', the fizzy ' Happiness ', plus 'I'm In Love With You', alongside a video where frontman Matty Healy clowns around with good friend (and  Laneway bill-topper ) Phoebe Bridgers. 

Performing in capital cities from April 2023, these will be The 1975's first shows in the country since headlining the  2020 Laneway Festival . It's billed as part of the band's 'At Their Very Best' tour, which sees them playing huge shows across the US, UK, Ireland and Japan as well as Australia and New Zealand.

The 1975 are at their very best for a brand new Australian tour

Time Out says

English rockers The 1975 are heading to Melbourne as part of an Australian tour next April. For the first time in three years, they're heading to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on a muti-date tour to celebrate their  forthcoming album,  Being Funny In A Foreign Language,  to be released on October 14.

The run of shows will see the band hit Melbourne on April 11 and 12, to perform recent singles like  ‘All I Need To Hear’, ‘I’m In Love With You’, ‘Happiness’ and ‘Part Of The Band’, as well as past hits and tracks from their previous album,  2020’s  Notes On A Conditional Form , which hit #1 in Australia.

Tickets for The 1975's Aussie shows go on sale to the general public from 11am local, Friday October 14. Stay tuned to the official website for all the details, or to enter the pre-sale.

The 1975 Announce 'At Their Very Best' Australian Tour

The highly anticipated 'At Their Very Best' tour will see The 1975 grace stages in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It will be their first time playing to Aussie audiences in three years.

Acclaimed English pop-rockers The 1975  have announced a headlining tour of Australia .  The highly anticipated   At Their Very Best tour will see the band grace stages in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne,  Sydney and Brisbane.  It will be their first time playing to Aussie audiences in three years. 

The 1975 will arrive in Australia with a host of new tracks to perform from their forthcoming album, Being Funny In A Foreign Language, which is due for release on 14 October. The band have recently released four singles from the album including All I Need To Hear , I’m In Love With You, Happiness  and Part Of The Band , their acclaimed comeback single which Pitchfork praised as “the kind of grand, playful pop song that only this band could pull off” . 

Being Funny In A Foreign Language  will be The 1975’s fifth studio album and is said to be their most intimate yet. While the band’s past few records were brimming with massive production—programming and synths— Being Funny In A Foreign Language is rooted in performance.

The 1975’s previous record, 2020’s Notes On A Conditional Form  became their fourth consecutive #1 album in the UK, landing at #1 in Australia too. 2020 also saw them named NME’s ‘Band of the Decade’, following being crowned as ‘Best Group’ at the BRIT Awards in both 2017 & 2019. Their third studio album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, also won ‘Mastercard British Album of the Year’ at the 2019 ceremony.

Formed in Manchester in 2002, The 1975 have established themselves as one of the   defining bands of their generation with their distinctive aesthetic, ardent fanbase and unique sonic approach.

The 1975 made their long-awaited live comeback in August as they headlined Japan’s biggest rock festival Summer Sonic 2022 in Tokyo and Osaka before returning to the UK for two triumphant headline slots at the iconic Reading & Leeds Festival. The 2023 Australian dates are part of the global At Their Very Best tour which includes huge shows in North America, UK, Ireland and Japan.

Tickets are on sale  for the Australian dates at 11 am, local time, Friday 14 October. Two pre-sales are being offered with an American Express pre-sale running from 9 am local time, Wednesday 12 October and a Secret Sounds Pre-Sale   running from 9 am local time, Thursday 13 October.

[Review] The 1975 @ Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne 11/04/2023

I was blessed to be able to see the “Best Band in The World”; The 1975 (according to The 1975 front man Matty Healy ) during their first Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday night. Turns out, as revealed during the show, Matty Healy used to live in Melbourne – information very much not known. So now you know! Hometown show!

A note before I continue! If you are an epileptic, do not go and see this show, there is a lot (and I mean, a lot of strobe). Live through this review and their Spotify repertoire instead. J

If you’ve read any of my previous reviews, or if you know me in real life, you’ll know I’m something of a Sad-Girl-Pop Connoisseur. So, having Wallice , as an opener was an especially tasty treat. Wallice is the alias of Los Angeles born-and-raised singer-songwriter, Wallice Hana Watanabe . She is described on The 1975 ’s event-page as “indie-pop wunderkind”, and has been described in NME as a “future alt-pop hero”. Clearly, she is a hot up-and-comer, and everybody knows it. She has the cutest aesthetic I’ve ever seen at such a large stadium show. Cowgirl hats, Americana-esque patterns and cuts are all the norm for Wallice ’s wardrobe. Tonight, she is donning a mini-skirt with a deep purple crop-top; complete with ruffles, puffy shoulders and starched buttons. Very Founding-Fathers-Meets-Indie-Darling-Core. I’m obsessed. As a Japanese woman, it is so clear that Watanabe embraces and celebrates her Asian heritage – because her entire backing band are also all Asian femme-presenting musicians. During her final number, smash hit 23 , she shreds guitar back-to-back with her other guitarist and bassist. It’s such a wonderful celebration of feminity. Seeing girls in skirts shredding up a storm made me feel a special kind of powerful, it spoke to Little Me who had seen far-too-few women playing for huge crowds, in all their hyper-femme glory. We were treated to an almost 40-minute set, with a personal favourite, Best Friend , and Funeral – “This next song is Funeral and it’s my favourite song I’ve ever made!” Watanabe gleefully proclaimed before launching into her penultimate musical number. Consider Wallice Sad-Indie-Girl-Pop Expert Approved .

Front-man Matty Healy begins the set alone, after a video plays on all four of Rod Laver ’s massive projection screens of him meandering out of the greenroom – glass of wine in hand. A single spotlight lights up the set, a stripped-down version of their concert-concept; a living room, complete with coffee table and lamp, as opposed to an entire house which can be spotted in the European and North American legs of the tour. The girl behind me begins screaming so intensely at the idea of Healy coming on stage, her friend has to hold her up. “We’ve been exploring being a man, being famous, being obnoxious”, Healy begins, leisurely reclining on the sofa. “This show, this concept, is a call for something sincere and direct”. Be My Mistake is such a beautiful opener to the set. Performed stripped down, with just an acoustic guitar, with harmonics courtesy of all those in attendance. Healy smiles listening to an entire stadium sing along with him; You do make me hard/ But she makes me weak .

Then the rest of the band comes out, and wow are they an absolutely ferocious unit. So musically tight, each providing such a crucial musical element to the show. I couldn’t imagine even being one-man down. Speaking of one man. The 1975 saxophonist, John Waugh , if you’re reading this review, call me on 04** *** ***. This man was the absolute highlight of the night for me. He was killing it, improvising and layering on top of everything from tear-jerking ballads to undeniable bops, jumping from alto saxophone, to clarinet, to tenor saxophone and back again. My jaw is still on the floor. But every member of the band is stellar, and we are treated to a new member for this tour, female guitarist Polly Money . She’s amazing, I hope she stays on for many tours to come.

As Healy winds his way through cigarettes, glasses of wine, and flasks of whiskey, the band winds their way through 6 albums worth of music in 2-hour absolute extravaganza. A feast for the senses, if you will. I was chuckling at Healy ’s Morrissey-esque dancing, feeling my friend start to cry at Fallingforyou and spellbound by a never-before-heard arrangement of Paris . The band is also not afraid to play instrumental tracks like An Encounter . They’re taking us on a ride.

Healy proclaims, “There’s quite a lot of people here, isn’t there?” And he’s met with screams of joy. after being the perfect cocktail of pleased and shocked. In response he yells back “We are the best looking band from Manchester!” (No one tell Liam Gallagher ) While this fact is completely not-provable by science, it is absolutely provable that there are some hardcore fans in the building tonight. The camera, when not focussed on the band – distorted video, black-and-white avante garde meets 70’s psychedelic lag makes it seem like there are trails following each of the musicians, is completely obsessed with this one fan. Front-and-centre, pushed against the barricade, sweaty, screaming every word, wearing one of the best pieces of merch currently on the market – a shirt that reads, Your Girlfriend’s Favourite Band . While I’m nowhere at her level, and was simply a casual listener, I fell in love with songs like I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes) and was possessed by groove to boogie along as much as my chair would allow.

Something I am though, is a Tumblr Teen. So when, at the end of the show, Healy slurs into the mic, “Does anyone remember 2013?” I know what’s coming. I feel my brain chemistry change. I am 14 years old again, editing my Tumblr html code, after a hard day of being sad and sweaty in Year 9 or whatever. “It feels like ya never left” And he’s right, as much as I try to delete the photos of my Facebook, the side-fringe-having-heavy-eyeliner-wearing teenage girl is alive and well under my front-fringe and septum piercing. The band finishes with Sex , and that teenage girl comes to the front. The Tumblr Girls are singing this time, some of the band’s later fans not understanding the vice grip The 1975 ’s 2013 self-titled album had on us, culturally. But I understand. We understand. What a cathartic moment.

And then, it ends. No encore, no nothing. Done. The end is marked only by Healy , “Give it up for the World’s Greatest Band, The 1975 . We love you!” Walking out in a swarm of former early-Internet teens, new tiktok fans and goths. I am bleary-eyed from too much light exposure, but feel a side-fringe sized weight lifted from my shoulders.

People were lining up from very early hours of the morning, and other people were even lining up for the show the next day. It is simple to say that The 1975 were very much overdue for a visit. To set the atmosphere and mood of the show they played a couple of classics before they took the stage such as ‘Love Me Tender’ by Elvis and ‘Blue Velvet’ by Bobby Vinton. 

Opening up the evening was Wallice from LA, an indie pop artist who charmed the crowd before The 1975 took the stage. Wallice introduced her band, Callaghan Kevany on lead guitar, Alina Sloan on bass, Corey Goron on drums and herself on vocals and rhythm guitar. She slowly put in motion her set and introduced the audience to her music, playing songs such as ‘Little League’, an unreleased song and her latest single, ‘Best Friend’ which was released earlier in the month. Majority of their songs were very upbeat, therefore there was no sense of contrast sonically and a lack of an emotional journey from the perspective of being an audience member. Although all in all she put on a fun set for the audience to settle in and get ready for The 1975. 

The set on the stage was very theatrical, feeling like a stripped back theatre set, with industrial, vintage floor lamps which stood to the right of stage and in the top left corner. In addition to this there were videographers on stage, projecting the footage being captured of the band on the LED wall occupying the majority of the background giving it a cinematic feel. The lighting stayed at a simple white or orange wash for most of the show but the operation and manipulation of the lights including flashes which was what added that extra emphasis on the songs and energy in the room. The production of the show through these elements and more really played on their idea of “Live on stage in show and concert”.

As the lights faded out, they broadcasted live from the dressing room on the screens where they were warming up and messing around. Atpoaim appeared on screen which is an acronym for a theatrical performance of an intimate moment, alluding to their so far, 2 part series on YouTube. Matt Healy, front man of the 1975 led the audience from the dressing room to the stage, creating a sense of intimacy between him and the audience and establishing a connection between him and the fans. It was also a great way to build up the feeling of anticipation as he approached closer and closer to the stage. 

Opening with just Matty on stage serenading the audience acoustically with ‘Be My Mistake’ it allowed the audience to prepare themselves, shortly after the rest of the band walked on stage. During ‘Happiness’ Matty poured himself a glass of wine and started dancing on the stage, encouraging everyone to have a dance with him. In terms of stage presence, they were energetic but not as energetic as I thought they would be based on past shows I’ve seen and heard about online. Although I do understand that touring is exhausting, they did start picking up in energy towards the end of the set by feeling the excitement and energy from the fans. 

The setlist differed for each leg of their tour, I was also at the second show and there were a few different songs from the first night which was a lovely surprise as most bands just stick to a concrete and consistent setlist. Matty conducted the audience through singing the first verse of their most widely known song ‘Somebody Else’, giving them a chance to be part of the band. I would’ve liked to hear a few more of their songs from their most recent album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’. In spite of this the setlist that they played was a healthy balance of newer songs, hits, and some older gems such as ‘UGH!’ and ‘I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)’. 

Closing with ‘Give Yourself A Try’ which allowed the band and audience to go all out and rid the rest of the energy they had left in them. They left the stage and Matty ran back on to turn off the lamp that was on stage to signify the end of the show. To the audience’s disappointment they didn’t have an encore but they ended on an energetic and satisfying note.

The 1975 is an English alternative rock band formed in 2002 in Manchester, England, consisting of lead singer and guitarist Matthew Healy, bassist Ross MacDonald, synthesizer and keyboard player Adam Hann and drummer George Daniel. Their debut self-titled album was released in 2013 and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and certified gold in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. The 1975 has had 6 albums, 6 extended plays, and 19 singles as of 2021. Their music has been described as 'alternative rock laced with synth-pop, funk, and hip-hop'. The band has received multiple awards and nominations, including three Grammy Award nominations in 2020 for Best Rock Performance, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Song. I saw them play at the Starlite Room in Edmonton which is a small, slightly sketchy venue downtown that I personally love. It holds about 300 people probably. My best friend and I got there to wait outside in line about 7 hours before doors opened to guarantee that we got close to the stage, which we did. But the whole time we were waiting, all of the band members were walking in and out of the front doors, or they would linger around the venue. At one point I ran to the Tim Hortons down the street to grab something to eat, and I was behind George.. Like it was insane.

But anyways , the show.

My friends and I were in the front left of the stage. And at Starlite, they have no barriers so you're pressed right up against the stage. Sirsly came on first, which I hadn't heard of them before the show. They did an incredible job opening the show. Next was Bad Suns, which I left the show being a huge fan of them. They have the perfect young alternative rock feel. They did a wonderful job connecting to the crowd and their whole set just flew by. I was lucky enough to meet them after the show to chat with and they were such lovely guys. And next was the 1975. The word to describe how great of a show these guys put on is something beyond my vocabulary. They are edgy, raunchy, loud and extreme. I have always fancied the lead singer Matt Healy, and he knows just how to work the crowd. He loves to tease, chat and just flaunt himself at everyone. There was no equipment set up in front of my friends and I, so we had lots of opportunities where the band members would come right up to us. A moment that was a highlight for me was during Talk! Matty knelt down grabbed my hand and sang the line, "I've been thinking lots about your mouth.' It was a big deal for me. HAHAHA. But I could honestly write for hours about these guys. Their connection with everyone was undeniable. I'd say my favourite song to see like was probably "Sex". Its the last song they performed and Matty introduced it saying, "this song is about fucking each other." But its incredible to see live where everyone knows all the words and just goes insane, including the band.

Then after the show, the band came out and met every single person who waited. It was magical. Matt was the first to come out and because of how calm he was, the crowd literally waited in close to silence. No screaming or fan-girling. It was sweet to see him take his time with every single fan. He gave everyone hugs and listened to everything they had to say. I explained to him how much the bands music meant to me personally and he gave me three hugs and seemed so gracious to hear everything I had to say. Honestly, he is an angel. I didn't have the chance to meet the members sadly but next time i guess.

Anyways, never pass up an opportunity to see these guys... ever. Its been almost 2 1/2 months and the post concert depression is stronger than ever.

My first concert. My favourite band.

Belsonic music festival is an intimate venue so I was in touching distance of the foursome. As the intro played in, the crowd erupted as we caught the first sight of Ross (bass guitar), followed by George (drums), Matty (vocals) and finally Adam (rhythm guitar). The boys filed on to 'Love Me' and got the party started. Favourites from both albums followed such as 'A Change of Heart' and 'Menswear'.

As the sky began to darken Matty decided it was time to address the audience, cigarette in hand. Stating he loved Belfast and reminiscing about the time they first played Belfast to only 25 people, I could hear loyal fans shouting, "we were there! We were there!" Matty continued to talk about the world and how a 'revolution' was imminent, saying that it looked a lot more "emo these days". I tried to capture his little speech on my phone like many others, when Matty told us all to put our phones down for one minute, telling us we would "enjoy the next ten minutes much more than if it was on our iPhone." The sea of people dropped their devices (me included) and swayed to the transcendent sound of 'Me'.

The second half of the show was truly electric with a rainbow flashing on stage to 'Loving Someone' as two shared a kiss to my left. Then came the ever a party starter 'Girls' and 'She's American'. The true spectacle of the night was 'Sex' however, a light show in its own right, and a religious experience.

Finishing their set the crowd chanted, "one more song! One more song!" The guys obliged and then some, coming back out to play three scintillating tracks: the hymn - like 'If I Believe You', the classic 'Chocolate' and banging 'The Sound'.

The 1975 are a band that not only perform with such energy track after track, but put on an impressive light show and with a prophetic front man foretelling the future, I would recommend anyone witness their excellence for themselves.

Well lets just say this: They rocked it but it didn't start out that way.

First let me say that I am 51 and have been going to live shows, big and small, for 35 years. So, I saw Depeche Mode way back in the day and this show felt very much like what I saw back in the 80's. For you younger ones, and The1975 fans, you will really enjoy it but for the first half of the show, I felt like I was watching Depeche.

The "show" and set are really cool. I have never seen any light show like that before but the problem was that the entire band basically stayed in place and left the "entertaining" part to the lead singer. I have no problem with that but I felt sorry for him as this was their first time in Red Rocks and for those of you who don't know, while it is an amazing venue, it is pretty hight in altitude and every band that comes through complains about not being able to breath. You could see that it was a struggle but he was still awesome and pulled it off.

The sound was great! The band was very tight and way better than what I saw on SNL. I am not a huge fan of their new stuff because I became a huge fan back in 2014 when I saw them at a small club in San Diego. But the new stuff was still good and it made the end great because they finally got to the rocking out.

The opening acts, The Japanese House and Wolf Alice were really good opening act and Wolf Alice now has a new fan in me.

To sum it up, they did a good job headlining and it was totally worth the time and money but unless you are a The1975 fan, you may feel wanting during the first half. Make sure you stay for the end!

The 1975 was amazing live. I've been to several concerts and I can easily say that this concert was one of the best ones I've ever been to. I love their music. I think they're a very unique and talented band, and it amazes me how the different instruments and sounds blend together perfectly to create a beautiful song telling a beautiful story.

Matty Healy was the one who mainly talked to us, and the things he did on stage were incredible. There were beautiful moments such as during a song called "Me", he asked everyone to put their phones away and just enjoy the music, and then during the second half of the song, he asked everyone to turn the flashlight on on their phone, and wave it in the air to the song. It was such a beautiful sight.

At some point in the concert, he kindly asked everyone to take a step back because the people in front were getting squashed. He also went backstage for a while to get water for the people in the audience who were dying of thirst. He also said some funny things such as "the weather does horrible things to my hair". I just think that Matty is such a genuine, kind and great man.

Apart from Matty's great character, the music was really good, and all 4 band members put on an amazing show. There were more upbeat tracks such as "Girls" and "Sex" which got everyone pumped and dancing, interchanged with groovy instrumentals and slow, sad songs such as "Fallingforyou" and "Me" which touched the audience. Great music, great band, and great live.

The 1975 is one band you definitely should catch live.

This concert was certainly a shock.

I had seen the 1975 about a year ago at Ally Pally and although that was a good concert, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would and that meant that I didn't have high hopes to see them again this time.

However I was proved wrong.

The concert was absolutely awesome! Travel to the venue was straightforward and not too busy for starters and waiting in the cold for 2 hours was not as cold as I had feared. I was standing and although I wasn't that close to them, the venue had a slanted floor, so the combination of this and my highest heels allowed for a good view.

Everyone there tended to be the same age as me or older, that is over seventeen, and I felt that this added to the experience as we were all as excited and into the music as each other.

There was some moshing and although I tried to avoid it at first, I joined the pit during "Sex" and that was definitely the right choice; although it was very violent and fast and probably dangerous, it was loads of fun and got me into the music and got me right to the front!

The boys' playing was just brilliant, they really made us all get completely hypnotised by the music and they played some of their new album which sounded great. Matty looked really fit and shoutout to the guy on the sax, he was absolutely wicked!

They were just brilliant so as soon as I got home I bought a ticket to see them again in March hahaha. Definitely recommend!

The 1975's Melbourne show was insanely energetic even though Matty was apparently not feeling 100%. You wouldn't have known that he'd tweeted the night before apologising for being sick and mentioning that People might be dropped off the setlist due to his voice not being able to cope. Luckily, it was not dropped and proved an amazing opening song to get everyone up and dancing. There were three songs which really stood out over the course of the show: firstly, Love It If We Made It. It was apt that the climate strike had taken place the actual day that the Melbourne show was on, so Matty took it upon himself to do a little spiel about climate change which was (as usual) inspiring. The song itself was full of energy and great staging. Love Me sounded much better live than in studio which was a surprise for me! Finally, Sex was absolutely fantastic: everyone was screaming every word and Matty jumping up and down on stage. My only issue was that Girls was taken off the setlist which is understandable seeing as they're probably sick to death of playing it but I think they owe it to everyone to play their classics like Girls (Arctic Monkeys would never drop Do I Wanna Know despite Alex constantly complaining about how he's sick of it nor would Green Day drop American Idiot!). Genuinely an 8.5/10 and a fantastic night. (Matty in the pleated skirt was also a highlight!!!)

I attended the 1975 concert at LC Pavilion in Columbus, OH. This is a great venue that is standing room only. The pit at the front of the stage is always crowded and filled with fans ready for a good show. 1975 delivered!! The guys used the stage and interacted well with the crowd. They got everyone involved and singing along. They were all dressed in black pants and various black shirts. They used a nice back drop of the single lighted rectangle from the album art. The stage lighting was great and they used lots of smoke along with the lights to really highlight the band members.

They opened with The City which was truly awesome, they played a long intro to it to get the crowd really riled up! At one point they had the crowd hold up all their cell phones like lighters, it seemed like a special moment for them and they appreciated the large crowd in attendance. The highlight of the show was definitely their current hit song Chocolate.

Set list included, Milk, M.O.N.E.Y., So Far (It's Alright), Talk, She Way Out, Settle Down, Heart Out, Me, fallingforyou, You, Girls, Robbers, and Sex. Overall a great show and one of the better live shows I have seen.

First opening band was Colouring, and I have to give them kudos for a job well done! I might be searching for their tunes. Second opening band instrumentals and music were good, but I was not a fan of the vocals.

On to The 1975: THANK YOU for an INCREDIBLE SHOW! The light show was AMAZING! STILL the best I have EVER seen! Matty kept all his attire on, lit up, and I swear there was a bottle of beer and a couple of wine glasses on stage. He danced on the piano and beckoned the sexy sax player. Mesmerizing. Merch was stocked! Unfortunately they did not carry the rose gold necklace I wanted. Set list was a mix of both albums and Medicine. He played 'Me' after kindly asking to put our phones away. Live in the moment for a memory no one else needs to know. Also played 'Robbers' after mentioning he'd never play it again, but they'll play it anyway. I was surprised how ok the acoustics were in the cement building of the PNE Forum. My friend and I had a tonne of fun! If you want a band that can give hot, steamy, sultry sex to your eyes and ears, see this band. MUSIC FOR CARS 2018!!!!

I have been a huge fan since their debut album, and last night got to see The 1975(first time) at the LC Pavilion in Columbus Ohio.Swim Deep opened for them and there was much anticipation and waiting for The 1975 to come on stage. There was a sensual smoky sound then the lights turned out and BOOM! They came out and killed the show with "Love Me". I'm 35 and I was sweating,singing,yelling and had the time of my life at this concert.Thier music is something special my 17 year old daughter and I share the same love for. Every damn song was phenomenal with the lights and screens.Matty interacted with the crowd throughout the night while sipping his wine. The long line outside, the standing was worth it in the end. Everyone loves The 1975, all ages and backgrounds it was exhilarating singing to all the songs with the crowd. They put on such an mind blowing show beginning to end. You can definitely feel the love.I can't wait for the new album, and the 2016 tour.When I listen to them I get lost in my feelings with thier atmospheric, sexy vibe. Great show from my favorite guys.

Starting with the opening act, it was really good DJ set.

The 1975 is band you shouldn't miss live. Really energetic even during slow songs. They're perfect live, as if you were listening to the album but with an extra vibe.

For this tour they have huge led screens everywhere with great graphics setting up the mood which is awesome and not usual as some bands do have led screens alternating graphics and live shots of themselves.

In one point of the concert I guess in one side of the Golden Circle people started pushing too hard against the barricade and Matt (front man) told them to hush and move two steps backwards, i guess there were some girls in trouble because he kept asking if someone was ok. He really cares about the fans, most artist would've let security handle it as they watched horrified.

This is one of my favorites bands and for sure they're awesome! So if you know too little this guy's go ahead and listen to more songs and watch videos and if they're coming on tour somewhere near you go see them live ;)
