I was looking for a short summer boot that was also waterproof. The glowing reviews along with Sportsbikeshop's 25%+ discount persuaded me to bite the bullet on what appeared to be a pricey product. So glad I did, well worth it. These Daytona boots oozed quality out of the box. Hand made in Germany they are stylish, comfortable and fitted perfectly - Size 44 is spot on a UK10. Excellent build quality and protection, and with proper care they look like they'd last forever.

After buying a cheap pair last year, that leaked from the off, decided to buy Daytona short boots. What a revelation. The sizing is spot on, despite my broad foot, and they fit perfectly in the right size (8). They look stylish, too. Tested them in several heavy downpours, they remained dry. Hoping they last a few years, but I would buy again, too.

Having back problems, they are easy to put on and easy to use the velcro strips. Very comfortable to wear. Quality is excellent.

My first concern was sizing. I'm a 10 in all boots and shoes so was not sure if I was a 44/45, if you are a 10 44 is the perfect fit. They are extremely well built and I would expect many years of wear. Not the most comfortable fit I've had but quality is 10/10. 40 Years of experience here on bikes , and I've learnt buy the best first time, and daytona boots are probably the best .

Third pair and never let you down waterproof & very comfortable. Well made and last pair lasted 10 years. Great quality & safe.

The usual excellent Daytona quality, these are a great short boot for people with mobility problems as they just slip on the feet and are secured with Velcro straps. + a great price from the sportsbikeshop

These boots were bought to replace a different brand of short boots. These boots are of excellent build quality and "slipper" like comfort. They can be worn all day long without any discomfort to myself. I am sure they will last for a very long time

Wanted a summer scooter boot but without compromising on safety. These boots feel strong and should be very protective if the worst happens. Having a 10.5 UK shoe size I opted for the size 11 boot and the fit is perfect. These could be worn all day and are easy to walk in. Although not a fan of velcro, the straps allow the boots to be put on and off quickly and provide secure attachment to the foot. Not yet used in wet conditions but am confident they would be fine. Although not cheap these boots are high quality, strong and comfortable. Really pleased with them.

These boot as opposed to my previous Alpenstars seem sturdy, however they are not as comfortable out of the box and take breaking in, this is in contrast with the other Daytona boots that I have which were comfortable from the get go. However these are completely waterproof (tested under very heavy rain) and I've already walked about 6 miles in them and ridden about 500 miles and they are still perfect. I expect them to last for many years

Daytona boots always excellent quality and fit. Sportsbikeshop as always simply the best. Best service, best price, best people. If you haven't used them then do it. You won't be disappointed.

Come on Is Daytona. So best brand. Boot so good quality, leather and goretex. But unfortunately I was in shock after just 10 minutes walking on this boots I scratched my skin off on my left ankle . But still I will keep it . Maybe I just was unlucky

Comfortable and light

Very good quality so good value. Not quite as cool as I'd hoped on warm days, fit is as per my shoe size so very comfortable from the outset.

Always wanted a pair of Daytona boots and when I eventually got a pair, I wasn't disappointed, I just wondered why I didn't buy a pair sooner. Sooo comfy and feel good on the bike, definitely a quality product, feel secure and supportive. Good feel for gears and rear brake , additional bonus of being waterproof especially in UK weather .

Only worn a couple of times so far but are very comfortable both on and off the bike, Bought for summer riding and very impressed so far.

As usual the service from Sportsbike shop was brilliant. From order to delivery was simple and pain free. The Daytona boots are well made and look really good on. I have a wide ankle and find it difficult to get a boot that I can get on easily, these are great and no problems getting my foot into them. Well pleased.

Always wanted some of these boots, now the proud owner of a pair. They really are amazing, so very comfortable, can never go back to any others.

Daytona Journey Pro GTX boots Product Information

Even though the Daytona Journey does the same as boots like the Arrow Sport and the AC Dry, there are some people who prefer the Journey.

Of course, in all the important aspects, it’s like other Daytonas. The best-quality hydrophobic leather, a Gore-tex lining, a galvanised, steel shank in the sole, and so on. Daytona’s boots will never win a beauty contest, but they are better made than any boots out there. They will last longer, and they will be nicer to wear.

The appeal of the Journey is two-fold. It’s made using Daytona’s lighter weight, perforated, XCR leather for lightness and more breathability. The second is the ease with which it can be put on and taken off. Some people struggle with zips, and there’s simply no adjustability with a zip in the way that there is with a couple of Velcro flaps. The Journeys are the velvet slippers of the Daytona range, yet still give nothing away in terms of functionality.

As shoe sizes are not measured in the same units around the world; Daytona have provided an overview of the different boot sizes to help you choose the right shoe or boot. To ensure that you have chosen the right shoe or boot, the best thing is to try it on!

By the way: Many of Daytonas models are available in size 34. Our default sizes are 37 to 49. The BIG TRAVEL goes as far as size 51. Even for narrow and wide feet we have a boot that fits.
