Feel like god.

I bought an Bajaj Avenger 220 in 2014. I have not faced any problems yet. Excellent mileage on road and off-road. One of the best bikes.

Best Features: Comfortableness.

Pros: Value for Money. Design.

Avenger 220 (2011)

I am using Avenger 220 since 2011 in 2018 I got bored from Avenger and purchased a gunmetal grey 350. After few months I realised nothing can beat Avenger in cruising and comfort. 2011 model Avenger easily beats 2018 model Royal Enfield in every aspect

My Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is a cruiser motorcycle known for its classic styling, comfortable riding posture, and relaxed cruising ability . While decent for a 220cc engine, the mileage might be lower compared to smaller-engine motorcycles . The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is a good option for riders who prioritize comfort, a relaxed riding posture.

Bajaj Avenger cruise 220 somewhere looks like Street 220 but the performance is enhanced. I was seeking a good cruising bike then my friend told me about Avenger cruise 220, after that I bought this bike last month. the riding experience is appreciable and it has exceeded all Max the riding experience is appreciable and it has exceeded all my expectations. the 220 cc engine provides enough power to easily ride on hilly areas. the mileage is around 40 km per litre which is good for a cruising bike.

I purchased this bike back in 2019 and till now I have not faced any problem but Bajaj may bring some update its design by increasing its engine capacity by 250 CC. Because this bike has a long wheelbase so the stability of this bike is outstanding and this bike ride is the perfect also on the bad roads but on the corners it does not feel good. It gives better mileage than NS200 and in terms of comfort no one can beat with the bike and for short height people this bike is awsome.

This is a very unique bike, So i have been using it for the last 2 months.I like its engine and its performance.Its looks are also very beautiful.

Recently i purchased Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 from my first salary . It is a cruiser bike designed for comfortable touring and cruising on highways. It has a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled DTS-i engine with fuel injection. This provides sufficient power for relaxed riding and comfortable highway riding. I expeeienced that it delivers an estimated mileage of around 40 kilometers per liter. It gernerally starts from around Rs. 1.17 lakh. But it will be not possible for middle class to buy this bike

Rider's Note: I am not a cruiser bikes loving person but after riding the Avenger Cruise, it totally changed the way I look at cruisers now. The bike feels a lot comfortable, comfortable than my couch, the engine is refined and the ride quality is plush and not to forget the chrome finishing, which makes the bike look a lot better.

The Bajaj Avenger 220 is the silent soldier in Bajaj Auto's portfolio that does handsome numbers every month without too much hue and cry. The Avenger 220 has been on sale for a decade now and it is one of the more value-friendly entry-level cruisers on sale. The Avenger 220 has been on sale for over a decade now and is currently sold only in the Cruise variant. The older examples though have a following over their own with the Kawasaki Eliminator inspired design that a lot of people still like. If you are a fan of that styling and are looking for a pre-owned Avenger 220, here are some pros and cons you should know.

The Bajaj Avenger 220 has been on sale for over a decade now and parts are easy to come by

1. The Bajaj Avenger 220 certainly looks the part and is instantly recognisable for its design. The old models also had the old-school charm that does look nice.

2. The Avenger 220 was all about cruising but it was also a fairly light motorcycle over a conventional cruiser. This made it easier to manage for newer riders as well as those looking for a comfortable and powerful commuter.

3. The Bajaj Avenger 220 remains largely unchanged and parts are extremely easy to come by. Spares and affordable and servicing isn't backbreaking either. For those looking for a cruiser on a budget, a preowned Avenger 220 makes a strong case.

4. The long wheelbase and 19 Nm of peak torque from the engine still work in its favour. The bike feels at home doing triple-digit speeds and is quite stable.

5. An 8-year-old Avenger 220 will be easily priced between Rs. 30,000-35,000. And that can be a steal for a well-kept one.

1. The Bajaj Avenger 220 was always built to a cost, so you will find rusting issues around the exhaust and chrome bits on the older examples.

2. The pillion seat comfort was always decent and not too comfortable on the Avenger 220. The low seat height and forward-set footpegs can get a while to get used to for the rider.

3. While the braking system was adequate, Bajaj never provided a rear disc brake, which continues to be the case even today. The front sports a disc while the rear gets a drum brake set up. The older examples did not get ABS either.  

4. The long wheelbase does it give a strong presence but it also made the motorcycle more prone to scraping the underbelly due to the low ground clearance. It also made manoeuvring the bike in slow-moving traffic or a tad bit more difficult.

5. Unlike conventional cruisers that are designed to be torque heavy in nature, the Avenger 220 always looked the part but used a street-oriented 220 cc engine from the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. So, if you are looking at an authentic cruiser experience, the Avenger 220 may seem to be more street-friendly.

Previously I had 2 cruising bikes (Meteor and xpulse) but Avenger is the most comfortable bike with very low maintenance cost and performance. last month I went to Ladakh with this bike and trust me I had the best experience with this. I've been riding Avenger for almost 20 years. I purchased 1st Avenger(red) 180 cc and rode it for 10 years. Then bought new Avenger 220cc in 2015 and riding it since then. To be frank, bike is amazing, the performance is fine, no vibrations, spares are not expensive, simple and elegant model. But, Everyone and everything has some age. Just like it, bike and it's parts also have some age. Wear & tear, rust, exposure to water, sun and too cold, every weather has some impact on parts and performance. So after 10 years of riding it I started facing some issues of engine sound, loosening of fasteners, vibrations etc. But maintenance is very economical. You can go for it if your budget is not high and want to cruise only. However, for rash driving go for some rough or sporty bike.

Go for tubeless tyres.

Worst bike ever purchased. Owned this bike for 9 years and I spent almost the amount I purchased it.. Vibrations engine parts are damaged every 2 to 3 months. I spent loads of money on this bike but was never satisfied. Not recommend this bike to anyone. I have one smart hero better than this Avenger 220. didn't spend more than 1k on that bike in 8 years .

The bike is very comfortable for driving in the city and on highways. The only cons I felt were that height is quite low for tall people otherwise it's a good package. Owning an Avenger is a rollercoaster ride. Avenger Cruise 220 is a kind cruiser in India. Best to use in India really good.

Self-starting problem. Model 2018. I Repair many times by market and Bajaj authorized service center but the problem is recreated in only a few kilometers. I ride this bike only 10k kilometers. Waste of money. And Bajaj service center members are not corporate with you. Waste money don't buy this bike. Very poor quality.

Worst bike don't purchase

Worst bike. In Summer need to remove air every time from the petrol tank to run smoothly & rain, it's too slippery because there is no weight on the front tire & in winter it doesn't start unless & until you have to push through the slope and get started by putting in gear they don't have kick start option.. I have been using this bike for the last five years with the headache.
