We decided to book a tour to celebrate our wedding anniversary, a dinner tour. This was the best anniversary that we have had. Graham was absolutely fantastic! We haven’t had a better time. And, a surprise of cheese and crackers half way though was great surprise. The dinner was delicious and all of the four wineries that we visited were great. We bought four bottle of wine of which, when we enjoy them, we will remember this trip.

Nestled amongst the sprawling vineyards of the prestigious Four Mile Creek sub-appellation,   Bella Terra Vineyards  sits on a 50-acre grape farm that has been tended to by the Puglisi family since 1974. Known for their rich Cabernets and elegant white wines, this family-owned winery is headed by Luciano (Lou) Puglisi who draws on grape-growing knowledge and experience that has been handed down from one generation to the next. As you sip any one of Bella Terra’s wines, you are tasting three generations of grape-growing and winemaking experience. Enjoy a guided tasting of a selection of three wines and a fun “Jar-cuterie” as you learn about the history of the winery and its winemaking philosophy.

Escape to The Hare Wine Co. and enjoy an intimate food and wine experience in their VIP area. Enjoy a flight of four wines paired with a charcuterie board loaded with locally sourced artisanal meats, cheeses and crostini. Kick things off with the soft effervescent Sparkling Rosé, a blend of Pinot Gris & Riesling, it is the perfect palate cleanser for the bold flavours ahead. Jump into a glass of their light, crisp and food friendly Hare Series Pinot Grigio. Try tasting it with the Capocollo for a gorgeous and well-balanced pair. Or better yet, bring out the herbaceous undertones in the wine by pairing it with the Mountain Oak Wild Nettle Gouda. Château des Charmes’ private host will walk you through a decadent journey of wine and chocolate pairings. Their Rosé Sparkling, Traditional Method will be paired with ruby chocolate which is made from an existing botanical cocoa bean varietal that has just the right attributes to be processed naturally into a sweet and sour bite. Next, their Chardonnay Paul Bosc Estate is paired with a sea salt caramel with milk chocolate that blends savoury and sweet hints in one rich and delightful flavour. Exotic passion fruit that delivers a sweet and tangy exotic experience to your palate is the perfect pairing for their Gamay Noir “Droit” from St. Davids Bench. And lastly, their Cabernet Icewine Paul Bosc Estate will be paired with white Belgian chocolate, a combination of luscious white chocolate with a drizzle of ruby chocolate.

The County covers a huge area and wineries are spread out East to West. While there are many gems hidden in by-the-way spots, we want to maximize your experience and spend most of your times at the wineries themselves rather than driving all over the place. The cars are great don't get me wrong, but you're really here for the wine. In order to get the most bang for your buck we have chosen select wineries grouped around popular accommodations. Leave it all to us, there are no decisions to be made except of course which wine you'd like to try- we pick you up and drop you off and in between you'll hit 4 wineries.

We choose wineries based on location, and also the best possible experience for you to have. What would we want if we were touring the county? Great wine, fantastic tunes, a beautiful car and lots of fun, so that's what you get with us.

Make sure you download your favourite playlists as each of our classic cars comes with a bluetooth speaker to ratchet up the fun factor. Water will be provided during your tour. Come ready to have a ton of fun, enjoy the beauty of Prince Edward County, all from the backseat of one of our classic beauties. So one morning I get up at the crack of dawn as usual- I have no idea why but I just can't sleep in, my father was the same.

I clean the kitchen, make my kids and wife breakfast and start thinking of all the times I've been asked his last year, "So how's retirement? ". Now let me tell you nothing makes you feel old as someone saying that to you.

It doesn't help that I listen to music from the past four decades and still get excited about it like a 16 year old in 1964 experiencing the Rolling Stones for the 1st time. I love vintage clothes and cars too. I wasn't meant to be born in 1968- I should've been born in the 40's so I could have enjoyed the 50's and 60's at that time instead of many decades later.

A while back I saw an ad about vintage car tours in Manhattan and it sparked an idea. I have been collecting vintage cars since I was a young man. For nearly a decade I've been living in Prince Edward County, and since I sold my bar/music venue, The Cadillac Lounge in Toronto last summer I've got some time on my hands. I've always been an idea person who flies by the seat of my pants. So now I have some time to figure out what I'd like to do. I'm still involved in the music scene but going at my own pace and with Covid, that's slowed down too. But this thing in Manhattan made so much sense to me- it combines my love of vintage cars, great music and the beauty of where I live and what I love about this area. Prince Edward County is a wonder and I love nothing more than driving around with my wife in our old cars exploring parts of the County I've never been before. It all came together so seamlessly and folks are digging it.

Honestly this doesn't feel like work, it's a pleasure. I've always loved helping to make people happy- I did it in the bar business for 25 years and now I'm doing it again in different ways. I'm not much of a business guy, I didn't go to business school but I've always just treated people the way I would want to be treated and it's worked out well for me. And the fact it allows me an excuse to keep buying vintage cars without my wife rolling her eyes (too much), is a bonus!

Besides the booming business and looking for drivers to help out with the demand of the tours people are seeking I'm also looking a bit down the road. The long game I guess is also to teach my kids work ethic and that their Dad is not some international man of mystery that does nothing but taxi them around to school & play dates. I'm still a cool-rocking'- Daddy driving kick-ass cars trying to spread some joy.

Utiel-Requena is a remarkable wine region situated in the Valencian Community (Spain).

Enjoy a flight of either red or white wines, at this modern winery and event center. It’s the perfect place to relax and look out for spectacular views.

The 2020 Northwest Winery of the Year, this is one of the two (re)-founding wineries in the Lewis-Clark AVA. Their wines will wow, as they are the only winery in the area to join the prestigious King of Platinum list, for having nearly twenty of their wines get platinum awards, and consistently win top awards at wine competitions locally and nationally. You’ll be able to taste the quality shine through for yourself!

Here, you’ll feel like you’ve always been friends with the winemakers. At this 2021 Idaho Winery of the Year, these two friends (and their wives!) make amazing wine. Their wines consistently win medals at all wine competitions they submit their wines. We will visit them at their tasting room in Newberry Square in beautiful downtown Lewiston. (They will soon be moving directly behind the building to their new winery!)

As we drive up the original highway to get into Lewiston, you can easily see how this vineyard got its name (the Old Spiral Highway). Stu will greet you at his residence (and winery) and you will take in the incredible views of the Clearwater River and the City of Lewiston. As this is primarily a wedding and event venue, getting in to taste is dependent upon there being no events that day.

You’ll feel like family, here. Paul and Heidi love showing off their great variety of white and red wines, which pair perfectly with the incredible views you see from their house. They have won many awards in regional and national wine competitions.

The newest tasting room in downtown Lewiston, tucked into the historic Morgan’s Alley, is a definite treat. This dynamic duo have many of their wines which are focused on Spanish varietals. Take a sip, and taste summer in every glass. Enjoy great wines, and a great husband and wife who want to share their love of wine with you.

This destination winery is meant to wow! Their winemaker is a Master of Wine, of which there are only a few hundred, world-wide. The wines consistently win awards, and the views are absolutely stunning, looking out over the Clearwater River.

Want a pickup in Moscow, Idaho? No problem! We pickup from the Hattenbaugh Hotel, our Palouse Preferred property for $10 per person. Pickup may also be arranged at the same price for other hotels. Pickup from private residences is also an option within Moscow for $15 per person.

Local Guide

Your local guide, Clint, will talk about the Lewis-Clark AVA, culture of the Nez Perce, as well as the history and scandals of the past, depending on the interest of the guests!
